As requested I am very happy to supply a reference to you. Harris Building and Maintenance fully Project Managed a large disabled extension to our property in 2008. Mr. Harris was from the out set very helpful and informative at all times, his involvement with drawings and planning made this extension less stressful for us than that offered by the S.C.C recommended contract ‘In Touch’ whom we where extremely disappointed and frustrated with.
H.B.M negotiations on our behalf not only managed to reduce the initial build estimates, but also the over all cost to us by well over £17,000.00 which we would have to have found over and above our awarded grant figure.
Through out the build, all the staff were polite, professional and did their best to looked after our front garden as best as possible to minimize damage and disruption. The extension was built on time and within the new agreed budget to which we are very, very thankful to H.B.M for.
We have since used Mr. Harris services again, with double-glazing to a bay window and patio doors; also we had a Garage roof re-felted and a patio laid and brick wall completed.
We feel Mr. Harris is very competitive and with trustworthy staff, due to this we would use again and have recommend H.B.M services to others.

Another successful development by H.B.M property services
The house was originally constructed in concrete pre cast segments with an internal timber framework all was in need of urgent repairs or redevelopment.
An excepted method of repair was and still is to remove these segments and build a brick skin in its replacement but this does not totally resolve the problems internally.
A complete rebuild in traditional brick block construction was decided upon. This rebuild of the main house and garage took approximately four months from demolishing to completion of the mainly dry lined internal walls. This stage allowed the occupants to move back into the property while all decoration and final work was completed which took a further two months.
Internally, The softwood and oak staircase set’s a warm pleasing feel to the hall, the kitchen dinner is open planned complete with a separate lounge and bay.
The first floor consists of three bedrooms with bathroom, the third floor is built into the loft with its own en suite.
The project was completed by H.B.M from start to hand over on time and within budget. The conservatory and other out building are later additions.
